My story

I spent five years fixing my family’s health before I knew that’s what I was doing.

I have ADHD, depression, and anxiety. My family has lived with those, and more. For a long time we managed the usual way. Medication, routines, willpower. It helped, but something was always still off.

The shift started with a hunch that I had celiac disease. I did not. What I had was a mental health reaction to folic acid, added to almost every enriched flour and baked good in the American food supply. We removed it. Within weeks, our family dynamic changed in ways I had not expected.

That one discovery sent us down a path we have not left since. Over the next five years, guided by our genetic data and deep research into the SNPs that affect mental health, mood, focus, and behavior, our family made change after change. With each one, something improved. I had been on a large number of medications before this work. By the end, I was on one, because I had learned where each of my symptoms was truly coming from. I lost 60 lbs. My wife had struggled with frequent UTIs for years. After spending hours working through her DNA file, I found that excess meat and sugar were driving them. We adjusted her diet and added D-mannose. They stopped. She lost 20 lbs of post-baby weight and started exercising regularly again.

Around the same time, I joined a health startup where I built the automated genetic analysis system powering their provider program, and began coaching providers on interpreting genetic data for their patients. Watching people recover their mental clarity, their mood, their sense of themselves, I knew I wanted to do that work for the rest of my life. Not the tech side. The people side. I had spent 25 years in technology. I walked away.

I trained and earned my NBC-HWC credential, the gold standard in health and wellness coaching, and built Neurofare around the intersection of genomic nutrition and mental and behavioral health. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Personalized Nutrition with a core focus in nutrigenomics, because the science keeps moving and my clients deserve someone who moves with it. The tech background is not a detour. It is part of what makes this practice different. I built my own genetic analysis tools. I read genomic research for enjoyment.

What this means for you and your family.

Neurofare exists because my family needed it first. The conditions we navigated—ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and autism spectrum—are the same ones I now help other families address through nutrition counseling. Not by treating them, but by finding the nutritional layer underneath them and giving your body what it actually needs.

If you have been watching someone you love struggle, and you have had that quiet hunch that something biological is connected, you are probably right. You have just needed someone to help you find exactly what.

That is what I do.

FAQ

Common questions.

Neurofare currently serves clients via telehealth in most U.S. states. Due to state nutrition counseling laws, services are not available in Alabama or South Dakota.

Neurofare specializes in nutrition counseling for families to help them live well with ADHD, anxiety, depression, chronic stress, OCD, ODD, sensory processing disorder, and autism spectrum.

You start with a free intro call to talk through where you are and whether Neurofare is a good fit. From there, you choose a membership tier based on how much direct access you want. Your membership covers your household, one person at a time. When you’re ready to shift focus to someone else, you do.

Teens can be worked with directly, with parent permission, to help them understand and integrate changes into their own life and schedule. Children are supported through their parents. Parents bring the information, the context, and the plan home.

Nothing special. If you have existing DNA data from 23andMe or AncestryDNA, bring it. If you have recent labs, those help too. If you have neither, that’s fine. We start with what you have and build from there. DNA testing is available if you want to go deeper.

A dietitian works from general nutritional science applied to your diagnosis. Neurofare works from your specific biology: your DNA, your labs, your history. The focus is on finding what’s driving the patterns you’re seeing, not managing symptoms with a standard protocol. It’s also coaching, not clinical treatment, which means the work is collaborative and client-led.

No. Neurofare is cash pay only. Membership pricing is on the membership page.

Yes. Many members sign up to get support for a partner, a child, or a teen. Your membership covers your household, one person at a time. You’re the member. Who you’re working on can shift as your family’s needs do.
